Jonas Mekas: the godfather of American avant-garde...
so i just found out, through Le Monde, that one of my favorites Lithuanian-born artists, Jonas Mekas, has a new website about all his work — which includes films, books, poetry, music. it’s so fantastic. guys, have a look. having in mind his bio and what he has done to American Art, this website cannot be ignored.

During winter, Lithuanians and other people from countries surrounding Baltic Sea have an interesting habit of staying in the sauna for some minutes (don’t ask me details), and after that, they go running to swim in the *almost* frozen lake or the Baltic Sea.
